Wendy was born and raised in beautiful, Siskiyou County. After a recent handful of years living in Wyoming, she returned home so that her two young daughters could be closer to family and would get to enjoy what Northern California has to offer.Wendy has been a lover of art since childhood and never grew out of it. With all of life's up's and down's, creating has always been there as a loyal friend to ease her mind and sooth her soul. She has not been formally trained beyond a drawing class in college. Her progress has been obtained by investing a lot of time throughout her life, experimenting, learning from others and trial and error. There is inspiration all around however the subject matter that Wendy chooses to focus on is meant to provoke a positive and uplifting experience for the viewer. Overall, her destination is not clear, there is a never-ending amount to learn and grow, but that's what makes the journey enjoyable for her. She will continue on this path for as long as possible, creating will always be by her side and she is grateful to have the desire as a faithful companion.
